Hi Hannah, Neither my fiancé or I are particularly religious but we have also been to several registry weddings where everything seemed very clinical and impersonal. With this in mind, we are considering hiring an officiant/celebrant to conduct our ceremony but have no idea what this involves as neither of us has been to a wedding conducted by a celebrant before. While the venues are a little OTT, as a couple we are very relaxed and just want a ceremony that feels intimate, cosy and peaceful. We just aren't sure what that looks like!
